This Privacy Policy explains how Siu Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in connection with the 81 Numbers mobile game (the “App”). We built 81 Numbers to be a simple, fun game and we collect as little personal data as possible.
1. Information we collect
81 Numbers does not require registration and does not collect personally identifiable information that you provide directly. The following data may be processed automatically:
- Game progress & settings — level completion, settings, and the complete local progress history stay on your device.
- Leaderboard data — for levels that support world records, 81 Numbers sends a randomly generated installation identifier, package/level identifiers, completion time, star count, and whether a hint or stop-time item was used. We do not receive your real name or email with these records.
- Display name — you may optionally choose a short public nickname (up to 12 characters) so your leaderboard entries are recognisable. It is stored on our server with your installation identifier, is visible to other players next to your times, and can be changed a limited number of times. Playing without a nickname is fully supported.
- Device & usage data — our advertising and purchase providers may collect technical information used to deliver ads, process purchases, prevent fraud, and maintain the App, such as IP address, device model, operating-system version, and general interaction data.
- Purchase data — when you buy something in the App, the transaction is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; our purchase provider (RevenueCat) receives an anonymous app-user identifier and purchase status to unlock your content and restore purchases.
2. Third-party services
81 Numbers relies on the following third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob — serves advertisements inside the App. Google Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat — manages in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store / Google Play — process payments and app distribution. See Apple and Google.
3. How information is used
The limited data described above is used only to:
- Provide and maintain the game and save your progress on your device;
- Operate the world-record leaderboard, show your chosen nickname next to your times, and prevent abuse;
- Process and restore in-app purchases;
- Display advertising, including measuring ad performance;
- Diagnose crashes and improve stability and performance.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Advertising & your choices
81 Numbers shows ads through Google AdMob. To do that, Google receives your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and basic information about how you interact with the ads. Depending on your region and your choices, these ads may be personalised.
- Consent: where local law requires it (for example in the EEA and the UK), 81 Numbers shows Google's consent message the first time you play, and your choice controls whether personalised ads are served. You can reopen it any time from Settings → Privacy options inside the App.
- iOS tracking prompt: on iOS, 81 Numbers asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before any tracking identifier is used. Declining is respected by the ad SDK.
- iOS device settings: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
- Android device settings: Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising ID.
5. Children’s privacy
81 Numbers is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
6. Data retention
Game progress stored on your device remains until you delete the App or clear its data. Leaderboard bests remain until you delete them from Settings → Delete online scores or send a verified deletion request. Your chosen display name stays reserved with your installation identifier until you ask us to remove it by email, so that it cannot be claimed by someone else in the meantime. Data processed by third parties is retained according to their own policies. See Delete your data for how to remove your information.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to certain processing. Because 81 Numbers does not maintain user accounts, most data lives on your device or with the third parties listed above. Online leaderboard records can be deleted directly in the App. You can also exercise your rights by contacting us or the relevant provider.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
